Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
1. Lead and oversee the sales team, including mentoring the Associate Specialist and Sales Lead Specialist, to achieve sales targets and business growth.
2. Develop and implement sales strategies to support Muqassa s market positioning, revenue growth, and expansion with members.
3. Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, both local and offshore, to drive retention and identify cross-selling opportunities.
4. Promote Muqassa s services, products, and platforms to increase market awareness and client engagement.
5. Drive the onboarding of new clients, ensuring seamless experience and compliance with regulatory and operational requirements, in alignment with the account management & onboarding teams.
6. Manage partnerships with banks and other stakeholders to enhance OTC Derivatives, Repo transactions and support product growth and other possible products
7. Collaborate closely with Account Management, Product Development teams, and other internal teams to ensure alignment and contribute to strategic projects and objectives.
8. Track sales performance, analyze market trends, prepare monthly revenue reports and business insights, and lead internal and external meetings to drive informed decisions
Key Accountabilities
1. Guide, and assist employees by direct reports to perform their functional operations efficiently.
2. Supervise the team s staff to ensure that they are appropriately motivated and trained and carry out their responsibilities to the required standards.
3. Evaluate employees performance with continuous feedback on their assigned targets.
4. Comply with communication and information sharing/handling policy to ensure confidentiality of the information and comply with all relevant risk and information security procedures to ensure operating within the acceptable risk levels.
5. Administer the development and implementation of the function s policies, procedures, and processes covering all areas of the function s activities to ensure the fulfillment of all work requirements.
6. Follow all relevant policies, procedures, and processes in order for the work to be carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.
Education and Certifications
Bachelor Degree in Business Administration, Finance or similar is required, Master Degree is preferred.
Professional certifications are preferred
Knowledge and Experience
4 + years of experience in sales, business development, or client relationship management, preferably within financial markets, capital markets
