Sustainability Engineer Webuild S.p.A.

• Lead implementation of sustainability requirements in line with Envision framework and project

sustainability KPIs.

• Perform embodied carbon calculations for concrete, steel, and major construction materials

using available EPDs, LCA tools, and project BOQs.

• Calculate recycled content, regional material percentages, and sustainability attributes to

support procurement and material selection.

• Conduct GHG accounting for fuel, generators, electricity consumption, and operational energy

of site offices and camps.

• Evaluate HVAC and MEP systems, including refrigerant GWP analysis, SEER efficiency reviews,

and power demand assessments.

• Review, track, and verify Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs) from suppliers; coordinate

data submissions for third-party verification.

• Support solar energy initiatives, including estimating production from solar systems, analysing

generator efficiency, and modelling energy-saving options.

• Monitor and report construction waste, recycling rates, concrete washout management, and

diversion performance.

• Prepare monthly sustainability reports, carbon-reduction progress summaries, KPI dashboards,

and management presentations.

• Work with design, QA/QC, procurement, MEP, and site teams to integrate low-carbon materials,

energy-efficient systems, and sustainable construction practices.

• Support environmental planning activities including dust, noise, water efficiency, and resourcemanagement strategies.

• Conduct site inspections, participate in design review meetings, and provide sustainability inputs

for audits and compliance checks.
