Job Purpose
Emirates Flight Training is a modern, forward-thinking division employing Competency-Based Training and Assessment (CBTA) and is among the few global operators fully implementing Evidence-Based Training (EBT). We offer a dynamic environment focused on continuous professional development, standardisation, and application of the latest training methodologies.
As part of Emirates Airline s continued growth, we are seeking experienced professionals to join our Flight Training department in non-flying, ground-based role as Synthetic Flight Instructor (SFI). This position is responsible for delivering training using Flight Simulator Training Devices (FSTD) and conducting ground school instruction in accordance with GCAA regulations and Emirates standards.
- Conduct FSTD type rating, recurrent training, recency training and ground school in line with the company requirements.
- Accurately complete and submit detailed assessments and reports via the electronic reporting system.
- Recommend additional or remedial training for pilots not meeting performance standards.
- Provide feedback to training management on potential enhancements in training efficiency, safety, and instructional methods.
- Contribute to ad hoc projects, course development, and other training-related initiatives.
- Hold or have held a CPL Commercial Pilot License MPL Multicrew Pilot License or ATPL Airline Transport Pilot License
- Minimum 12 months of experience as an active Instructor or Examiner
- Minimum 1500 hours flight time as a pilot on multipilot aeroplane
- Advanced communication and leadership skills
