Roles & Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook authentic Syrian, Arabian, and Italian dishes using traditional recipes and modern culinary techniques.
  • Maintain strict adherence to food safety and hygiene standards in compliance with local and international regulations.
  • Manage inventory, monitor stock levels, and assist in ordering supplies to ensure seamless kitchen operations.
  • Contribute to menu planning and development, incorporating seasonal ingredients and guest feedback.
  • Supervise kitchen staff during service, providing guidance and ensuring consistency in food quality and presentation.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment in accordance with health and safety protocols.
  • Collaborate with the culinary team and management to meet daily service demands and special event requirements.
  • Ensure proper storage, labeling, and rotation of ingredients to minimize waste and maximize freshness.

Requirements

  • 2 4 years of proven experience in a professional kitchen, preferably in a resort, hotel, or high-end restaurant environment.
  • Expertise in Syrian, Arabian, and Italian cuisine with a deep understanding of regional ingredients, cooking methods, and flavor profiles.
  • Proficiency in English and Arabic (written and spoken) for effective communication with staff and guests.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and HACCP principles.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team under pressure during peak service hours.
  • Valid work permit and willingness to accept visa sponsorship and relocation to Al Ain.
  • Willingness to live in provided accommodation as part of the employment package.
