Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Manage and maintain Windows Server environments, domains, Active Directory, and Group Policy.
- Configure, monitor, and secure network infrastructure including LAN, WAN, routers, switches, firewalls, and internet settings.
- Administer Microsoft Exchange & email systems, ensuring availability and performance.
- Provide support and standard configuration for Windows laptops, desktops, and related hardware.
- Implement and maintain virtualization technologies such as Hyper-V, VMware, and cluster environments.
- Ensure high availability, disaster recovery readiness, and backup strategies for critical systems.
- Monitor system performance, respond to alerts, and perform preventive maintenance.
- Manage server security, patches, upgrades, antivirus, and access control policies.
- Administer Linux servers as required for internal applications and services.
- Develop and maintain IT documentation including configurations, topology, policies, and procedures.
- Troubleshoot system issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement permanent fixes.
- Coordinate with vendors for technical support, procurement, and escalation needs.
- Support internal system expansions, upgrades, and onboarding of new technologies.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and IT governance best practices.
Desired Candidate Profile
Minimum 3 years of experience in systems administration or a similar role.
- Proven experience with Windows Server administration and domain management.
- Microsoft Certification (e.g., MCSA, MCSE, AZ-related certifications) is mandatory.
- Strong knowledge of virtualization (Hyper-V, VMware) and Windows clustering.
- Hands-on experience with network security, firewalls, VPNs, and routing.
- Experience with Microsoft Exchange and corporate email administration.
- Linux administration skills (basic to intermediate).
- Strong understanding of backup technologies and disaster recovery.
- Excellent troubleshooting and incident response capabilities.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work under pressure.
