Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
System designer plays a key role in designing solutions/products and translating requests into a concrete technical design. Manages the development process and monitors the compliance of initial requirements with the technical design and developed solutions.
System designers key tasks are related to the modeling and design of components and/or system modules and creating development specifications. In doing this, he or she uses the appropriate software engineering methods, using design tools, in accordance with specific needs (process model, object model, data model, functional decomposition, sequence diagrams etc).
For each specific task he or she defines optimal approach and techniques that will be used to achieve the desired goal, which are in accordance with and within the framework of valid methodology for developing and monitoring the products/solutions life cycle.
Your Major Responsibilities Will Include:
- Responsible for gathering and analysing business requirements with ability to transform them into designer specifications containing User stories, Use Case diagrams, System Architecture and Business process flows specifications
- Customer facing for Business requirement clarifications and analysis
- Controls and supervises all lifecycle phases of the development of products/solutions
- Responsible for controlling and monitoring changes in the development process, and for the compatibility of components which are the base for the product/solution
- Responsible for the planning and implementation of upgrades for the existing solutions/products processes
- Participates in the preparation of and is responsible for the quality of the documentation that is being delivered with the product/solution
- Verifies testing strategies and controls the execution of the internal testing process
- Responsible for the quality of the solutions that are being delivered and gets involved in User Acceptance Tests
- Organizes and coordinates developers team activities
- Takes into account the work efficiency, plans and reports to Business/Project Leads
Desired Candidate Profile
Requirements for the Position Include the Following:
- 5+ years on similar jobs
- BSc or MSc in Technical degree
- Understanding concepts of microservice architecture
- Must have previous development experience
- Demonstrable expertise of agile methodology and frameworks like Scrum
- Very effective interpersonal skills including mentoring, coaching, collaborating, and team building
- Strong analytical, planning, and organizational skills with an ability to manage competing demands
- In-depth knowledge and understanding of business needs with the ability to establish/maintain high level of customer trust and confidence
- Proven ability to lead software development
