Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Responsibilities :
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define functional safety requirements for systems and components.
• Develop safety concepts, strategies, and mechanisms
• Perform in-depth Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA) and Fault Tree Analysis (FTA)
• Design and implement safety mechanisms, including fail-safe mechanisms, and diagnostic features.
• Create safety documentation, including safety requirements specifications, safety case reports, and technical design documents.
• Define and execute safety validation and verification plans
• Interface to Software and Hardware development
Profile :
• Bachelor's or master s degree in engineering or related field.
• Over 2 years of proven experience in functional safety engineering, particularly in automotive
• Familiarity with relevant functional safety standards like ISO 26262 or FMVSS, and their practical application
• Skilled in hazard analysis, risk assessment, FMEA, and fault tree analysis.
• Exceptional problem-solving abilities and a collaborative team player.
• Effective communication skills to manage communication with the different stakeholders of the project.
• Familiarity with ANSYS MEDINI is a plus.
• ISO 26262 Functional Safety Professional certification is a plus
