Responsibilities

• Design and implement Windows-based systems to meet organizational needs and goals.
• Manage Active Directory, ensuring proper configuration and security protocols are followed.
• Perform routine system checks and maintenance to ensure optimal performance of Windows servers.
• Implement and oversee backup and disaster recovery policies for all Windows systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any system errors or performance issues as they arise.
• Ensure all systems are up-to-date with the latest security patches and updates.
• Monitor network performance and make adjustments to improve network speed and security.
• Collaborate with other IT professionals to integrate Windows systems with other platforms.
• Assist in the development of system and network documentation for training and reference.
• Configure, manage, and monitor network resources and equipment such as routers and firewalls.
• Support end-users by investigating and resolving software and hardware issues.
• Evaluate and recommend new technologies to enhance the organization's IT infrastructure.

Requirements

• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a System Engineer with a focus on Windows systems.
• Extensive experience with Windows Server operating systems and related technologies.
• Strong knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, and network protocols.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot network issues.
• Familiarity with virtual environments such as VMware or Hyper-V is desirable.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative IT team.
