Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

The System Engineer is responsible for delivering end-to-end IT solutions, combining presales support with hands-on technical implementation. The role involves understanding customer requirements, designing tailored solutions, supporting proposals, and leading deployments including installation, configuration, and integration.

The engineer works closely with customers and internal teams to ensure successful delivery, provides training and documentation, and offers ongoing technical support. Acting as a trusted advisor, the role also focuses on troubleshooting, optimizing systems, and ensuring high customer satisfaction across multiple projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct technical presentations and proof-of-concept sessions for prospective customers
  • Understand customer environments and translate business requirements into practical technical solutions
  • Support the sales team with technical proposals, BOMs, and solution design
  • Lead end-to-end solution deployments: planning, installation, configuration, integration, and testing
  • Deliver customer training sessions for end users and IT administrators
  • Produce clear documentation including solution designs, as-built configurations, and handover guides
  • Provide technical support to customers post-implementation
  • Troubleshoot, maintain, and optimize deployed environments
  • Serve as a trusted technical advisor and escalation point for customer issues

Desired Candidate Profile

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • 4-6 years of experience in a Systems Engineer, IT solutions, presales engineering or related IT role
  • Strong foundation in IT infrastructure: Windows Server, Active Directory, virtualization, and Networking.
  • Relevant vendor or industry certifications (ITIL, MCSA, CCNA)
  • Proven ability to manage multiple customer projects simultaneously
  • Excellent communication skills, able to present to both technical teams and business decision-makers
  • Strong problem-solving mindset with a customer-first attitude

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Hands-on experience with ITSM best practices.
  • Experience with monitoring systems, virtualization, and data protection solutions
  • Familiarity with cyber security solutions (XDR, NDR, EDR, SIEM) is plus
  • Familiarity with cloud environments (Azure / AWS) is a plus
  • Fluency in Arabic and English (written and spoken)
