Roles & Responsibilities

Technical skills:   

  • Proficiency in operating systems (Linux, Windows Server, Unix).
  • Expertise in database administration (Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL/PostgreSQL).
  • Skills in scripting and automation (Shell, Python, PowerShell).
  • Good understanding of communication networks and protocols.
  • Minimum 4 years experience as a DBA/Systems Engineer

Behavioral skills:

  • Analytical and synthesis skills.
  • Rigour and a sense of organisation.
  • Ability to work in a team and to communicate with non-technical people.

  • Define the [OS] standards, engineering rules, processes and Configuration Management tools
  • Build the deployment infrastructure
  • Automate recurring operational tasks
  • Participate in the optimization of the server environments operated
  • Performance audits
  • Tuning system
  • Transforming routine activities into an orchestrated, on-demand mode.
  • Ensuring the operational maintenance of the infrastructure within its scope, including incident management, fault diagnosis, and problem eradication.
  • Install and maintain the operational status of cluster environments.
  • Conduct studies, contribute to transformation projects and deploy technical solutions
  • Define the standards, engineering rules, processes and configuration management tools
  • Participate in discussions on the evolution of infrastructure within your scope and define the impacts on production/support
  • Leading projects, designing solutions, participating in technical studies, defining appropriate architectures, creating prototypes, and deploying the most suitable technical solutions in collaboration with the relevant business units.
  • Build the deployment infrastructure
  • To commit to a process of continuous improvement
  • Produce the data and APIs (Application Programming Interfaces) necessary for controlling and automating production
