Systems Architect Lead (Cloud & Infrastructure) INTALEQ

To lead the architecture, governance, and operational excellence of INTALEQ’s multi cloud ecosystem across Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, and hybrid environments built on Nutanix HCI. The Systems Architect Lead ensures resilient, secure, and cost optimized cloud services while driving cloud strategy, modernization, and long term digital transformation. The role provides technical leadership to the cloud team and ensures mission critical workloads operate at enterprise grade standards.

Resposibilities-

Multi Cloud Architecture & Strategy

• Design and maintain scalable, secure architectures across Azure, Google Cloud, and hybrid Nutanix environments.

• Apply cloud architectural best practices, patterns, and frameworks to ensure resilience and performance.

• Evaluate and recommend cloud services and technologies that align with INTALEQ’s long term strategy.

Hybrid Cloud & HCI Management

• Oversee Nutanix/VMWare HCI clusters, ensuring seamless integration with Azure and Google Cloud.

• Optimize hybrid workloads, storage, and compute resources for mission critical services.

• Implement lifecycle management, upgrades, and performance tuning across hybrid platforms.

Cloud Governance, Security & Compliance

• Establish and enforce governance frameworks, policies, RBAC, and compliance controls across all clouds.

• Implement cloud security baselines, identity standards, and monitoring practices.

• Ensure adherence to regulatory, audit, and cybersecurity requirements.

Cloud Cost Management & FinOps

• Lead cost governance across Azure and Google Cloud, including forecasting and budgeting.

• Conduct periodic cost optimization reviews and implement savings initiatives.

• Ensure tagging, chargeback, and consumption visibility across all cloud services.

Disaster Recovery & Business Continuity

• Design and maintain DR strategies using Azure DR/Nutanix NC2/AVS, Google Cloud DR/Nutanix NC2/GCVE, and hybrid recovery models.

• Conduct DR drills, failover testing, and readiness assessments.

• Ensure mission critical workloads meet RPO/RTO requirements.

Cloud Migration & Modernization

• Develop and execute migration roadmaps from on premises and hybrid environments to Azure and Google Cloud.

• Lead modernization initiatives using PaaS, containers, and automation.

• Ensure minimal downtime and risk during migration activities.

Landing Zone Ownership & Cloud Operations

• Maintain and enhance Azure and Google Cloud Landing Zones, policies, and guardrails.

• Oversee configuration, monitoring, and lifecycle management of cloud workloads.

• Ensure operational excellence through automation, IaC, and standardized processes.

Cloud Team Leadership

• Lead, mentor, and develop the cloud engineering team to ensure high performance.

• Establish technical standards, documentation, and best practices.

• Drive a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and accountability.

Stakeholder Communication & Collaboration

• Present cloud strategies, risks, and architecture decisions to leadership and business units.

• Collaborate with cross functional teams to support cloud driven initiatives.

Act as the technical advisor for cloud adoption, modernization, and transformation programs.

Qualification-

• 8+ years in cloud architecture, multi cloud engineering, or hybrid infrastructure roles.

• Strong experience with Azure, Google Cloud, Nutanix HCI, VMware virtualization

• Proven leadership in managing cloud teams and mission critical environments.

• Experience designing scalable, fault tolerant multi cloud architectures.

• Strong background in cloud governance, security, and compliance frameworks.

• Demonstrated capability in cloud cost governance and FinOps practices.

• Experience with multi tier application migration and modernization.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, IT, or related field.

• Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ 305) preferred.

• Google Cloud Professional Architect certification preferred.

• Nutanix/VMware certifications are an advantage.

• Deep expertise in Azure and Google Cloud security, identity, and governance.

• Strong understanding of cloud networking, distributed systems, and hybrid cloud architectures.

• Hands on experience with DR, business continuity, and multi tier application migration.

• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ARM/Bicep) and automation frameworks.

• Strong troubleshooting and performance optimization skills.

• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.

• Strategic thinking with the ability to align cloud architecture with long term organizational goals.
