In this role, you will be responsible for leading the design, development, integration, and validation of landing gear systems used in ADASI s unmanned and aerospace platforms. You ll work across disciplines to ensure these critical systems are compliant with stringent airworthiness and operational requirements, contributing to the success of our cutting-edge defense programs.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the design and development of landing gear systems, including actuation, retraction, and damping mechanisms Define and validate system requirements aligned with aircraft mission needs and regulatory compliance Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with aircraft systems Conduct stress, load, and fatigue analyses using simulation tools to ensure structural integrity Prepare and execute verification and validation plans, including ground and flight testing Ensure alignment with airworthiness regulations (EASA, GCAA, MIL-STD) Support supplier engagement and technical oversight for landing gear components Maintain documentation including engineering drawings, specifications, and change requests Required QualificationsBachelor s degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Mechatronics Engineering (Master s degree is a plus) Minimum 5 years of experience in aerospace landing gear system design and integration Proven track record in system-level engineering and aircraft subsystem integration Experience in regulated environments involving military or UAV platforms Preferred: INCOSE ASEP/CSEP, Chartered Engineer status, or GCAA/EASA familiarity Technical ToolsCAD software: CATIA, SolidWorks, or Siemens NX Simulation/analysis tools: ANSYS, Abaqus, or equivalent FEA platforms Systems engineering tools: DOORS, Polarion, or similar Familiarity with standards: ARP4754A, DO-160, MIL-STD-810 Ideal AttributesStrong systems thinking and problem-solving ability Excellent communication and documentation skills Adaptable and proactive in dynamic project environments Collaborative mindset with cross-functional coordination capabilities High attention to detail and commitment to engineering excellence Why Join ADASIAt ADASI, you'll work with some of the brightest minds in the defense and aerospace industry.
