1. Testing and Commissioning Execution

• Oversee the complete testing and commissioning lifecycle from Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) through Integrated System Testing (IST) to ensure installed systems meet design specifications and operational requirements.

• Supervise and execute testing and commissioning activities for HT/LT panels, chillers, HVAC systems, and other electrical and mechanical equipment.

• Plan and implement structured testing procedures including:

  • L1 – FAT Instruction

  • L2–L3 – Installation Verification and Pre-Functional Testing

  • L4 – Field Performance Testing

  • L5 – Integrated System Testing (IST)

• Ensure accurate preparation, verification, and approval of test reports and commissioning documentation for all testing stages.

2. Cross-Functional Support

• Collaborate with the design and engineering teams to resolve technical issues and implement system improvements.

• Coordinate with the procurement team to ensure timely availability of required equipment and materials for commissioning activities.

• Liaise with client representatives and project stakeholders on all quality and commissioning related matters.

• Support the project team during final system validation, acceptance testing, and project handover.

3. Team Management and Training

• Manage and supervise a team of commissioning engineers, supervisors, and technicians.

• Assign tasks effectively to team members and monitor progress to ensure commissioning activities are completed as per schedule.

• Provide training and guidance to technicians on L2 and L3 testing procedures to ensure competency and adherence to established standards.

4. Documentation and Reporting

• Maintain detailed documentation of commissioning procedures, test results, and technical reports.

• Ensure all records are properly maintained to support quality compliance, project documentation, and future audits.

• Develop and maintain a knowledge database and lessons-learned repository from commissioning activities to support continuous improvement in future projects.

5. Performance Optimization

• Support Field Performance Testing (L4) and Integrated System Testing (L5) to validate system performance, efficiency, and integration across all systems.

• Monitor testing outcomes and system performance and recommend process improvements and corrective actions where required.

• Ensure all systems operate according to design intent, project specifications, and operational requirements.
