Roles & Responsibilities

Role: TAC Manager – HPC & Enterprise Infrastructure

Location: Remote

Hiring For: A leading Technology Solutions company headquartered in the Middle East, specializing in enterprise infrastructure, HPC, AI factory solutions, servers, storage, and advanced computing across government and enterprise sectors.


Role Summary We are hiring a TAC Manager to lead the Technical Assistance Center supporting mission-critical GPU clusters, HPC infrastructure, Linux systems, virtualization, and enterprise storage for enterprise customers across the Middle East. This is a senior leadership role responsible for TAC operations, escalation management, SLA compliance, and team development.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of TAC and HPC Engineers delivering L1–L3 infrastructure support

  • Act as escalation manager for critical production incidents and drive timely resolution

  • Review escalations, troubleshooting steps, and root cause analysis (RCA)

  • Audit engineer work for compliance with TAC standards, SLAs, and procedures

  • Mentor TAC engineers and continuously elevate team technical capabilities

  • Manage support for GPU clusters, compute nodes, and rack-level infrastructure

  • Ensure availability, performance, and stability of HPC and cluster environments

  • Provide technical leadership for enterprise Linux environments (RHEL, Ubuntu, CentOS)

  • Oversee enterprise storage: SAN, NAS, iSCSI, and distributed storage

  • Manage networking technologies: TCP/IP, DNS, routing, firewalls, VPN

  • Oversee TAC support for container platforms using Kubernetes

  • Establish proactive monitoring and preventive maintenance processes

  • Work directly with enterprise customers on critical escalations

  • Coordinate with engineering, deployment, and architecture teams for resolution

  • Maintain and improve TAC processes, documentation, and knowledge base aligned to enterprise TAC/NOC models

Desired Candidate Profile

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or related field (required)

  • Master's degree (preferred)

  • ITIL knowledge or service management experience (preferred)


Experience

  • 8–15 years in TAC, Technical Support, NOC, or Infrastructure Engineering

  • 3–5 years managing TAC teams or handling escalations

  • Strong background in enterprise Linux support

  • Experience with GPU clusters, HPC infrastructure, or large-scale compute environments

  • Proven track record in escalation management, incident management, and RCA


Certifications (Preferred)

  • RHCE (Red Hat Certified Engineer)

  • CKA / CKAD (Kubernetes)

  • OpenStack certifications

  • Virtualization: VMware, KVM

  • Storage: Dell Technologies, HPE, or NetApp


Joining: Within 30 days or sooner

Shift: Regular shift; flexibility required for 2 PM–11 PM or 9:30 AM–6:30 PM shifts if needed
