Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Job Contents:

To manage and aligning talent acquisition strategies with business objectives, overseeing manpower planning, budgeting/price control, and ensuring compliance with Omani labor regulations. Managing the full recruitment lifecycle from requisition to offering, fostering candidate relationships, and maintaining HR administrative functions.

Description:

  • Collaborate with hiring managers and senior leadership to understand talent needs and develop recruitment strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Implement approved manpower plans, establish effective systems for manpower planning, and periodically review their suitability.
  • Track and implement the Omanization plan in compliance with Omani Labor Laws.
  • Proactively source top candidates through various channels such as job boards, social media, networking, and universities, ensuring positive candidate experiences.
  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process from requisition to offer acceptance, adhering to the approved manpower plan and budget.
  • Conduct thorough candidate screenings including resume reviews, technical assessments, phone interviews, and in-person interviews, and checking reference and psychometric assessments.
  • Evaluate candidates based on job requirements and agreed interview evaluation criteria to select the best fit candidates.
  • Generate recruitment reports and metrics for HR management to measure effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
  • Maintain and implement filing systems as per approved standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Creating and Preparing the new employees files including all recruitment related documents, personal documents and employment contracts.
  • Provide administrative support for conflict resolution and employee relations matters.
  • Stay current with Omani employment legislation and ensure all HR policies are compliant.
  • Administer employee relations policies and procedures such as long service awards and employee suggestion schemes.
  • Administer the onboarding process for new hires and ensure accurate record-keeping of employee personal records.
  • Produce management information reports as required and administer time and attendance systems.
  • Independently generate HRMS reports accurately and in a timely manner using MS Office tools.
  • Interact with unions at a transactional level and respond to internal and external HR inquiries.
  • Communicate effectively with employees across all departments and provide necessary data to management.
  • Support section heads by preparing and distributing reports and statistical data.
  • Ensure adherence to HR policies and procedures in line with Omani labor laws.
  • Share skills and experiences with colleagues and support their development through coaching
  • Knowledge and Understanding of the Asset Management, QHSE Management System and IT Security Standard Requirements according to Integrated Management System (IMS), ISO 55001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001 and ISO 27001 to carry out the assigned duties as per the roles and responsibilities matrix.

Job Qualifications and Experience

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor Degree in HR, Management or equivalent
  • CIPD Diploma is preferable

Professional Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years of working experience in Recruitment/ talent acquisition
