Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Perform routine tasks, including cleaning, inspection and repair.

  • Experience in tank repair, fiber glassing, painting, civil, mechanical works and inspection and corrosion activities related to tanks overhaul preferably in refinery Petro- chemical industry

  • Must have good knowledge in oil & gas storage tanks Fabrication & Maintenance including drawing skills.

  • Conduct non - destructive testing 9NDT) to inspect tank integrity and identify potential issues.

  • Troubleshoot problems with tank equipment and systems, implementing solutions as need.

  • Collaborate with other teams to resolve complex technical issues related to tank operations.

  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations during all aspects of tank maintenance.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Possesses a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field; a strong foundation in engineering principles is essential.
  • Demonstrates 5+ years of experience in tank maintenance within the oil and gas, petrochemical, or related industries.
  • Exhibits a deep understanding of various tank types (e.g., aboveground, underground, floating roof) and their respective maintenance requirements.
  • Proficiency in using inspection tools and techniques, including ultrasonic testing (UT), radiographic testing (RT), and visual inspection.
  • Demonstrates strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex tank-related issues effectively.
  • Possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Demonstrates a commitment to safety and environmental compliance, with a strong understanding of relevant regulations and standards.
  • Proficient in using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for managing maintenance activities and tracking performance.
  • Exhibits physical stamina and ability to work in various weather conditions and environments, including confined spaces.
