Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate day-to-day tank construction, fabrication, and installation activities.
  • Ensure all work complies with API, ASME, and project specifications.
  • Monitor quality, productivity, and safety performance of work crews and subcontractors.
  • Conduct inspections, supervise NDT activities, and ensure welding quality and documentation.
  • Work closely with Engineering, QA/QC, HSE, and Planning teams to resolve technical issues.
  • Ensure compliance with approved ITP, method statements, drawings, and project schedules.
  • Prepare daily progress reports and highlight risks, delays, or resource needs.
  • Lead toolbox meetings, safety briefings, and enforce site safety policies.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Civil, Structural, or related engineering discipline (preferred).
  • Minimum 5–10 years experience in tankage construction supervision (API 650 / 620 / 653).
  • Strong knowledge of tank erection methods (jacking, hydraulic lifting, welding sequences).
  • Familiar with NDT methods, WPS, PQR, and inspection standards.
  • Proven leadership skills with ability to manage multicultural workforce and subcontractors.
  • Strong commitment to workplace safety and quality standards.
  • Ability to work in rotating shifts, remote sites, or overseas project locations.
