Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
We are seeking an expert in tariff development and redesign with a strong background in the utilities sector for a client in Abu Dhabi.
The role objective is to provide expert support on the design and assessment of regulated tariffs in the utilities sector, including quantitative impact analysis.
Key Responsibilities

Support the design and refinement of regulated tariffs

Develop and operate financial and economic models to assess cost recovery, revenue allocation, and stakeholder impact

Perform scenario, sensitivity, and impact analysis to support tariff and pricing decisions

Provide expert input on regulatory economics, tariff principles, and pricing frameworks, drawing on international best practices

Support the digitization and automation of charge calculation, settlement, and invoicing processes, including opportunities for analytics and AI-enabled insights

Translate complex technical analysis into clear, decision-ready outputs for senior stakeholders and project leadership
Desired Candidate Profile
Candidate Requirements

Deep experience in tariff structuring, pricing, or regulatory cost recovery frameworks

Strong hands-on capability in financial and tariff modeling

Familiarity with the UAE or regional utilities sector in the regulatory and market context

Background in utilities, regulators, system operators, or energy-focused advisory/consulting firms

Subject-matter expert profile, typically 8 15+ years of relevant experience
