Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  1. Master’s degree in accounting and finance, preferably Chartered Accountant

  2. Minimum of 3 years of experience of tax compliance in UAE

  3. Knowledge of UAE tax laws (VAT, Excise & Corporate Tax)

  4. Knowledge of banking, treasury and cash flows

  5. Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills

  6. Knowledge of ERP software such as SAP or Oracle

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Preparation of monthly and quarterly VAT & Excise returns after compiling and validating financial data

  • Compilation and validation of documents for UAE corporate tax registrations of various entities

  • Monitoring and reporting on accounting inconsistencies and getting them resolved by coordinating with concerned people.

  • Providing accounting and clerical support to ensure that financial transactions are in compliance with tax regulations.

  • Conduct day-to-day transactional processing and reporting on taxation

  • Compile, verify, and analyze financial information and prepare financial reports and accounting statements

  • Liaising with internal and external auditors for tax and bank related queries

  • Preparation of daily bank position of various banks

  • Preparation of daily/Weekly/Monthly cash flow statements

  • Monitoring bank covenants as per bank’s terms and conditions after gathering relevant financial information

  • Filing of account opening forms for new banks

  • Coordinating with the accounts payable, accounts receivable and central finance team for all payments and collections forecast

  • Compilation of insurance figures from various divisions for insurance renewal

  • Follow up with insurance broker/company for insurance claims
