Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Prepare and file accurate tax returns in compliance with local, regional, and national regulations.
- Analyze financial statements and records to ensure all tax liabilities are properly calculated and reported.
- Monitor changes in tax laws and regulations, providing timely updates and recommendations to management.
- Coordinate with internal departments to gather necessary documentation and data for tax filings and audits.
- Liaise with external auditors and tax authorities during audits, ensuring all queries are addressed promptly.
- Identify and implement tax-saving strategies to optimize the company s tax position.
- Maintain detailed and organized tax records for future reference and compliance purposes.
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual tax provisions and disclosures.
- Support the finance team in budgeting and forecasting tax-related expenses.
- Provide guidance and training to junior staff on tax compliance and best practices.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 5 to 8 years of proven experience as a Tax Accountant or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of local and international tax regulations and compliance standards.
- Experience with tax preparation software and ERP systems.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in an office environment.
- Effective communication skills for liaising with internal and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Professional integrity and commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
