In financial operations at PwC, you will focus on managing financial processes and confirming compliance with regulations. You will handle tasks such as financial reporting, budgeting, and risk management.

As a Finance Operations Associate, you will join a dynamic 5-person FinOps Enablers Team located in Egypt, which plays a critical role in bolstering the broader FinOps Working Capital team. Your primary focus will be on supporting efforts to optimize working capital performance across the organization through meticulous financial management of transactional requests and efficient operational processes. You will work closely with the Working Capital Team to ensure that financial processes are executed smoothly and efficiently within our agreed SLAs.

In this role, you will be expected to combine strong analytical skills with effective communication and organizational abilities, ensuring that your contributions make a significant impact on the 7 business units across 12 Middle East markets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in job code creation, termination, and updates

  • Invoice clients, raise progress bills, inter-territory bills and process credit notes

  • Drive focused clean-up exercises to maintain data integrity, in collaboration with FinOps Working Capital team

  • Utilize financial software tools such as PowerApps trackers and PowerBI dashboards to automate billing processes where possible, enhancing efficiency and reducing the likelihood of errors

  • Collaborate with the Working Capital team to deliver on key performance indicators that help measure and improve financial operations efficiency.

  • Ability to prioritize tasks efficiently, allocate time effectively, and meet deadlines without compromising quality.

  • Strong organizational skills to keep track of multiple tasks

  • Keen eye for detail to ensure accuracy and prevent errors, especially when dealing with large volumes of work

  • Skill in handling various tasks simultaneously

  • Clear and effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and stakeholders, ensuring everyone is aligned and informed.

  • Flexibility to adjust to changing priorities and unexpected challenges while maintaining productivity.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of office experience

  • Proven finance knowledge through a relevant degree or experience in the field

  • Proficient in both verbal and written English and Arabic
