Roles & Responsibilities

Role Overview

We are seeking a PMO with 3-4 years of experience in project coordination, reporting, and governance within a technology-driven environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of project management principles. This role supports the iTech Technology team in ensuring consistent delivery practices, tracking key project metrics, and facilitating cross-functional collaboration. Experience with project management tools, stakeholder communication, and reporting frameworks is essential. The candidate will play a key role in supporting portfolio governance, resource planning, and project performance monitoring.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Support the execution of PMO standards, methodologies, and governance practices across a portfolio of projects.

  • Track and report on project progress, key milestones, budgets, and resource allocations.

  • Collaborate with project managers, delivery teams, and business units to ensure timely and accurate status updates.

  • Maintain project documentation, RAID logs (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies), and change request records.

  • Prepare and distribute PMO dashboards, portfolio summaries, and executive reports.

  • Assist in resource planning, capacity tracking, and alignment of staffing with project priorities.

  • Monitor compliance with delivery frameworks, timelines, and PMO processes.

  • Facilitate regular project reviews, governance meetings, and post-implementation evaluations.

  • Support continuous improvement efforts by identifying areas for process enhancement and automation.

  • Contribute to the implementation of project management tools, templates, and best practices.

Educational Qualifications
Bachelor s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Project Management, or a related field.

Required Skill Sets

  • Project Coordination : Experience supporting cross-functional projects, managing timelines, and tracking deliverables.

  • PMO Governance : Familiarity with project lifecycle management, risk tracking, and compliance reporting.

  • Tools & Reporting : Proficiency with Microsoft Project, Excel, PowerPoint, and project tools such as Jira, Smartsheet, Microsoft Teams.

  • Communication & Stakeholder Engagement : Strong written and verbal communication skills; experience working with project leads and executive stakeholders.

  • Analytical Thinking : Ability to synthesize data into actionable insights; attention to detail in status tracking and metrics reporting.

  • Documentation & Reporting : Ability to create and maintain clear, structured project documentation, templates, and reporting artifacts.

  • Time Management & Organization : Strong ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines across a portfolio of initiatives.

Preferred Skills

  • Certification in project management (e.g., CAPM, PMP, PRINCE2 Foundation).

  • Experience supporting Agile, hybrid, or scaled delivery frameworks (e.g., SAFe, Scrum of Scrums).

  • Familiarity with resource management and financial tracking tools.

  • Exposure to IT governance, compliance frameworks, or internal audit functions.

  • Understanding of KPIs or performance metrics within a PMO context.
