Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
1. System Development and Enhancement: Participate in building a tax management framework—including objectives, strategies, and methodologies—that aligns with the company’s development strategy; formulate tax management policies to support the achievement of tax objectives and ensure effective implementation. 2. Tax Compliance and Filing Management: Responsible for registration and system setup for all applicable tax categories; establish overseas tax invoicing systems to ensure compliant tax-related operations; oversee corporate income tax, value-added tax, and other tax filings to ensure compliance with local tax regulations. 3. Tax Planning and Risk Control: Continuously monitor and collect tax and financial information from countries relevant to business operations and assess their impacts on the company and the group; support the group in organizational structure design and business model planning; consolidate company tax data and conduct tax analysis and risk assessments based on financial and operational performance. 4. Tax Authority Relations & Audit Handling: Build and maintain cooperation with local accounting firms and tax authorities to obtain professional resources; lead local tax dispute resolution and coordinate local teams in responding to customs and tax audits. 5. Process Optimization and Tax Training: Conduct regular training for internal teams on international tax laws and transfer pricing to standardize compliance practices; collaborate cross-functionally to provide tax support for business operations and supply chain planning; promote the implementation of tax automation tools to reduce manual errors and regularly publish materials such as Cross-Border Taxation Guidelines. 6. Tax Incentives and Subsidy Applications: Legally and compliantly maximize the use of tax incentive policies; organize and participate in negotiations for local fiscal/tax subsidy programs to secure favorable policies for the company. 7. Other tasks assigned by management.
Desired Candidate Profile
1. Language skills: Fluent in English as working language, Chinese or Arabic is a plus. 2. Education background: bachelor’s degree and above, major in finance field. 3. Working experience: minimum 4 years of UAE experience exclusively in tax-related area. 4. Professional certificate: hold relative certificate such as ACCA, ITM, etc. 5. Personal Attributes: Possesses strong verbal communication skills, interpersonal skills, adaptability, and problem-solving abilities; demonstrates approachability, a strong sense of responsibility, and a high level of professionalism.
