Roles & Responsibilities
About the Role:
We are seeking an ambitious and highly skilled Tax Senior Associate to join our expanding tax advisory team in Dubai. This is a key role where you will manage a diverse portfolio of clients, including high-net-worth individuals, entrepreneurs, and corporate clients with complex regional and international tax considerations.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Portfolio
Work on a diverse portfolio of UAE and international tax clients, including multinational corporations, family offices, high-net-worth individuals and entrepreneurs.
Provide strategic tax planning advice in areas such as UAE Corporate Tax, Economic Substance Regulations (ESR), Transfer Pricing, and VAT.
Advise individuals and families relocating to the UAE.
Advise clients on cross-border transactions, regional business structuring, and tax-efficient strategies for international operations.
Collaborate with tax advisors in other jurisdictions to manage international tax matters and ensure seamless compliance.
Liaise with our London office, gaining exposure to UK tax legislation when supporting clients with regional operations.
Reporting Structure
Report to a Tax Manager, who will supervise your activities and provide guidance while allowing you to maintain a certain level of independence in managing your portfolio and delivering client services.
Supervise and mentor junior colleagues, promoting technical skills, professional growth, and team collaboration.
Research and Analysis
Stay ahead of developments in UAE tax legislation, including new regulations, guidance, and compliance requirements.
Conduct technical research and provide well-reasoned insights on complex UAE and international tax matters.
Share expertise through structured knowledge-sharing initiatives.
Essential Skills and Experience
Degree qualification (honours degree preferred).
Master’s degree or LLM in International Tax (a plus).
Qualified as a Chartered Accountant or Chartered Tax Adviser or a UAE-recognised qualification.
Strong technical knowledge of Corporate Tax, Transfer Pricing, and VAT regulations.
Excellent analytical, research, and problem-solving skills.
Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
Experience using tax research databases is highly desirable.
Fluency in English is essential; Arabic or another language would be an advantage.
