Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Manage and supervise all tax-related activities, including CIT, VAT, WHT, and other tax returns.

  • Ensure full compliance with Egyptian tax laws and regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee tax inspections, audits, and communications with the Egyptian Tax Authority (ETA).
  • Manage ETA e-tax systems, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.
  • Analyze tax risks, requirements, and impact of new legislation on business operations.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with tax advisors and external auditors.
  • Support tax planning and structuring assignments, including M&A and business restructuring.
  • Draft tax reports, memoranda, and advisory notes with accuracy and professionalism.
  • Conduct research on tax laws, regulatory updates, and market changes.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure tax considerations are integrated into key business decisions.
  • Apply technology and automation tools to enhance the efficiency of tax processes.

Desired Candidate Profile

Bachelor s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in taxation within a corporate or group environment.
  • Experience with a Big Four or multinational consultancy is an advantage.
  • Proven knowledge of Egyptian tax laws, regulations, and compliance processes.
  • Solid expertise in VAT, Payroll Tax, and Withholding Tax.
  • Proficient use of the ETA electronic tax portal.
  • Professional certifications (CPA, ACCA, CTA, ACA, SOCPA) are preferred.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and supervisory skills.
  • Excellent command of English and Arabic (written & spoken).
