King s College Doha is seeking a dynamic and passionate Business Studies Teacher to join our Senior School team, teaching pupils from Years 10 to 13. The successful candidate may also take on the role of Form Tutor.

Key Responsibilities

Teaching and Learning

• Deliver well-planned, engaging, and creative lessons tailored to the needs of all pupils.

• Foster a passion for Business Studies and a culture of high expectations.

• Collaborate with the department to plan curriculum and schemes of work.

• Work with the Senior Leadership Team to ensure subject provision aligns with the school s development plan and assessment standards.

• Set challenging learning goals, using varied strategies, resources, and technologies.

• Provide regular feedback and encourage pupils to reflect and act on it.

• Support pupils academically as required, including preparation for external examinations.

Pastoral and Wider School Life

• Undertake pastoral and supervisory duties as required.

• Attend assemblies, departmental meetings, parents evenings, school functions, and other staff events.

• Act as a positive role model and contribute to the school s image and ethos.

• Participate in extra-curricular activities, school-organised events, and enrichment programs.

Curriculum Development

• Develop high-quality, creative subject-specific activities.

• Assist in sourcing and managing teaching resources.

• Ensure vertical and horizontal curriculum articulation.

• Analyse and act on assessment data to ensure outstanding pupil progress.

• Regularly review teaching practice and take responsibility for professional development.
