ROLE SUMMARY

Malvern College Egypt is seeking to appoint a motivated and committed Teacher of Chemistry and Sciences. This position is available from August 2026. (New staff induction week from 16 August 2026 - TBC).

IDEAL CANDIDATE & REQUIREMENTS

We are seeking individuals who are hard working, creative, resilient and dedicated to student success. At our school, we expect exceptional behaviour management, a team-based culture of collective efficacy and an unwavering commitment to engaging teaching with the proven ability to foster positive relationships and consistently inspire and motivate students. Suitable candidates will require:

- An appropriate university degree and teaching qualification
- At least 3 years experience of teaching English National Curriculum, Key Stage 3, GCSE and A-Level and/or IB Diploma would be an advantage.
- A passion for teaching and learning and a drive to achieve high standards for all
- To be an advocate for student wellbeing and involved in our pastoral care system
- Excellent understanding of Chemistry with other Sciences and how students learn.
- Strong classroom management and organisational skills
- A solid understanding and use of ICT in the classroom (familiarisation with Google Workspace is advantageous).
- To be a team player, motivated by the challenge of achieving the vision of the department and the school.
