Job overview
The Role
The successful candidate will be a educator with the capacity to expertly integrate IT, computing and digital technology into the primary school classrooms as well as teaching exciting computing/IT lessons. They will be skilled at co-planning and co-teaching mentoring colleagues to help enhance the use of IT and tech across primary school classrooms to provide learners with the skills to use technology ethically and appropriately within their learning experiences.

Teaching & Learning
  • Plan and deliver purposeful, inclusive, and challenging lessons aligned with the National Curriculum for England.

Candidate Profile

Essential
  • A recognised teaching qualification in a IT-related subject (PGCE, QTS, BEd or equivalent)
  • A minimum of 2 years teaching experience in a relevant setting
  • Evidence of strong teaching practice and student progress
  • Alignment with DBSJ s ethos and commitment to professional reflection and growth
  • Willingness to contribute to extra-curricular and whole-school initiatives
  • Understanding of data-informed teaching and inclusive strategies
Desirable
  • Experience in British or international curriculum schools
  • Familiarity with KHDA or DSIB frameworks
  • Strong track record of curriculum design
