Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with professors to assist in the delivery of lectures and workshops.
- Lead discussion sections, review sessions, or lab sessions to reinforce course material.
- Assist in grading assignments, quizzes, and exams according to established rubrics.
- Provide constructive feedback to students to help them improve their performance.
- Assist in maintaining course-related records and documentation.
- Attend department meetings and training sessions as required.
- Create supplementary materials such as practice problems, worksheets, or study guides to aid in student understanding.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering or a related field is required.
- Enrollment in or completion of a graduate program in Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering or a related field is preferred.
Experience
- Prior experience as a teaching assistant or tutor in civil or architectural engineering is advantageous.
- Strong academic background in civil and architectural engineering fundamentals.
Technical Skills
- Knowledge of civil and architectural engineering principles (e.g., structures, construction materials, design fundamentals).
- Familiarity with engineering and design software is preferred.
- Ability to read, interpret, and assist with engineering drawings and design documents.
- Basic knowledge of laboratory testing procedures and equipment related to civil or architectural engineering.
- Ability to operate and troubleshoot laboratory equipment.
Behavioral Skills
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving Skills
- Ability to adapt to different learning styles and needs of students.
- Patient and empathetic approach when helping students overcome challenges.
