As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the educational experience and the academic success of students. You will support the lead teacher in planning and implementing classroom activities, managing classroom behavior, and providing individual and small group instruction when necessary. Your duties will include creating a positive learning environment, ensuring safety and discipline within the classroom, and fostering a supportive, inclusive community for all students. Your work will contribute significantly to maintaining the smooth operation of the classroom and help the lead teacher address the diverse academic and developmental needs of students. Responsibilities

• Assist the lead teacher in planning and preparing daily instructional materials and activities.
• Support classroom management by maintaining a focused and respectful learning environment.
• Provide individualized attention and assistance to students who need additional help.
• Facilitate small group activities to enhance students' learning and understanding.
• Supervise students during extracurricular activities and ensure their safety and engagement.
• Document and report student progress, participation, and behavior to the lead teacher.
• Organize and maintain educational resources and classroom materials efficiently.
• Communicate with parents and guardians regarding students' progress and needs when necessary.
• Adhere to school policies and procedures to ensure a safe and positive environment.
• Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities.
• Assist in grading assignments and assessments under the guidance of the lead teacher.
• Encourage a respectful and inclusive atmosphere where each student is valued.

Requirements

• Bachelor s degree or equivalent in Education or a related field is preferred.
• Proven experience working in educational settings, preferably as a teaching assistant.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students effectively.
• Ability to manage a diverse classroom and support an inclusive learning environment.
• Flexibility and adaptability to work collaboratively with various teaching staff.
• Basic knowledge of educational software and technology for instructional purposes.
