Roles & Responsibilities


We are seeking a caring, committed, and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant . The ideal candidate will have a genuine passion for early childhood development and will support the classroom teacher in providing a warm, safe, and stimulating learning environment.


Key Responsibilities


  • Support the classroom teacher in implementing daily lesson plans and educational activities.
  • Provide attentive supervision to ensure children’s safety and emotional well-being at all times.
  • Assist in preparing age-appropriate learning and play materials tailored to each child’s needs.
  • Support children with basic care routines, including toileting, hygiene, and mealtimes.
  • Participate in nursery events, including open days, outdoor activities, and school events.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and engaging learning environment and play areas.
  • Help welcome new staff members and demonstrate positive team collaboration.
  • Attend ongoing training sessions and staff meetings as scheduled.
  • Follow all nursery Policies and Procedures consistently.

Desired Candidate Profile

Requirements


  • Minimum High School Certificate or a Vocational Qualification in Early Childhood Care and Education.
  • Previous experience working in a Nursery, Early Years, or childcare setting is preferred.
  • Strong communication, literacy, and numeracy skills.
  • Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework is an advantage.
  • Must demonstrate patience, empathy, and a child-focused approach.
  • Female candidates only (as per role requirement for this age group).
