Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
The College of Engineering at the University of Buraimi invites applications for a full-time position at the rank of Teaching Assistant in Civil Engineering. We are seeking an innovative, research-driven individual with a strong background in geotechnical engineering, fluid mechanics, surveying, and emerging technologies relevant to the field.
The successful candidate will contribute to advancing the college s teaching and research missions and be actively involved in curriculum development, student supervision, and collaborative research.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Support teaching at undergraduate level courses in Civil Engineering.
- Engage in scholarly research and publications in Civil Engineering.
- Advise students on academic and career goals.
- Collaborate with other faculty members and staff to develop new programs and initiatives.
- Provide service to the department, college, university, and profession.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the program chair or the College Dean.
Desired Candidate Profile
A BSc or BEng degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related field from a recognized university and an IELTS of 6.0. (Omanis Only)
