Roles & Responsibilities

Cranleigh Abu Dhabi is currently seeking a Teaching Assistant (UAE National). This is an exciting opportunity to join the highly successful Aldar family of schools and to help shape the future of Abu Dhabi's leading school group.

Classroom Support

  • Work with groups or individuals to support learning across the curriculum.
  • Use school policies and methods to help pupils (e.g., phonics, math strategies).
  • Record pupil activities and assist with administrative tasks like preparing resources, setting up the classroom, and creating displays.
  • Encourage independence by questioning, modeling, and supporting personal organization and hygiene.

Pupil Engagement and Supervision

  • Build positive relationships with pupils through meaningful communication, enthusiasm, patience, and respect.
  • Supervise pupils during breaks, school trips, transitions, and specialist lessons.
  • Manage behavior positively and act as a role model.

Professional Collaboration and Development

  • Work closely with the class teacher to ensure effective communication and lesson preparation.
  • Maintain confidentiality at all times.
  • Be proactive in seeking support or training for personal development.
  • Report concerns about pupils to the class teacher.
  • Stay flexible and contribute actively to the school community.

Minimum Education

  • Bachelor Degree

Minimum Experience

  • 1 years experience as a Teaching Assistant
