Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise a team of radar engineers across design, simulation, integration, and validation phases
- Define radar system architecture and ensure technical coherence across RF, antenna, and digital subsystems
- Plan resources, assign tasks, and monitor execution to meet defense program requirements
- Oversee simulation campaigns for performance metrics (range, Doppler, SNR, detection probability)
- Act as main interface with program managers, customers, and government representatives
- Ensure compliance with military standards (MIL-STD-810, MIL-STD-461) and internal quality frameworks
- Identify technical risks, define mitigation strategies, and ensure continuous process improvement
- Drive strategic decision on radar technology roadmap and investment priorities
Requirements:
- Minimum 8+ years in radar engineering, with at least 3 in leadership roles in radar system design, integration, and testing
- Proven success in radar design, simulation, integration in defense or aerospace programs
- Expertise in radar architecture (Pulsed, FMCW, AESA) and advanced signal/data processing
- Hands-on experience with radar test equipment (network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes)
- Solid background in modeling tools (MATLAB/Simulink, Python, ADS, CST)
- Experience managing cross-functional teams in complex system development
- Familiarity with requirements traceability and verification matrices
- Strong communication skills and ability to represent the company in technical reviews
