Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy, tactics, and goals to achieve sales objectives both annual and monthly and drive revenue growth in coordination with overall company business plan.
  • Establish a robust sales operational framework by developing and implementing annual sales operating plans, forecasting, metrics, and strategic initiatives.
  • Research and understand the sales competitive landscape to establish and evolve accurate sales compensation and metrics aligned with market dynamics.
  • Assign and track sales quotas and targets and ensure that quotas are optimally allocated to all sales channels and resources to establish clear performance expectations and measure team success.
  • Provide input in the development and administration of sales incentive compensation programs.
  • Utilize sales CRM software to track sales activities and performance to gather valuable insights for data-driven decision making.
  • Map sales process with customer's buying process to understand and enhance what skills, knowledge, process and tools are required by the existing sales force to increase velocity and conversion rates at each stage in those processes.
  • Analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities to uncover growth opportunities and optimize sales strategies.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth sales operations to streamline sales processes and improve overall efficiency.
  • Manage the entire sales process from lead generation to closing deals ensuring a seamless sales funnel and maximize conversion rates.
  • Resolve critical customer issues promptly and effectively, mitigating potential damage to the company's reputation.
  • Build and cultivate strong business relationships to expand market reach, generate sales opportunities, and gather competitive intelligence.
  • Oversee sales team operations, develop and execute sales plans, and manage sales budgets to achieve revenue targets.
  • Provide sales expertise to inform marketing plans, ensuring alignment between sales and marketing efforts.
  • Monitor the assignment and follow-up of leads within the team to ensure timely contact and maximum conversion rates
  • Foster a positive and collaborative team culture to create a motivated and engaged work environment. Responsible for obtaining profitable results through the sales and sales operations team by developing the team through motivation, counselling, skills development, and product knowledge development.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelors' degree in Business Administration/ Sales; Master's Degree - Preferred
  • A Diploma/ Advanced certificate in Sales Management - preferred.
  • Minimum 8+ years' experience with at least 4-5 years’ experience in a leadership role for a Team Lead Sales.
  • Proficiency in Ms. Office suite and software applications, including customer relationship management (CRM) systems
  • Proficient in using sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
  • Demonstrated ability to consistently meet or exceed sales quotas.
  • Ability to handle high-pressure situations and work under stringent deadlines
  • Be able to resolve conflicts effectively
