Roles & Responsibilities
Location: GCC., GCC.
Qualification:
- Bachelor s degree in electrical, mechanical, or industrial engineering
- Minimum 2 years experience in port operations or electromechanical fields.
- Minimum 2 years team leader experience.
- Team builder.
- Read and write the English
- Proper communication capabilities
- Proficient in reading and interpreting mechanical drawings and schematics.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Familiarity with relevant safety regulations and industry standards.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience: Minimum 2 years experience in port operations or electromechanical fields. Minimum 2 years team leader experience.

- Description
- Team Leadership:
- Lead, motivate, and supervise a team of mechanical, electrical, welders, tire man technicians, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
- Provide guidance, mentorship, and training team members for skill development and performance improvement.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize the availability of plant equipment, ensuring alignment with production schedules and operational needs.
- Collaborate with production planners to prioritize and schedule maintenance activities based on equipment criticality and production requirements.
- Maintenance Coordination:
- Coordinate and schedule mechanical maintenance activities, including preventive maintenance, repairs, and equipment inspections.
- Collaborate with other departments to optimize workflow and minimize downtime.
- Lead the mechanical maintenance team in a manner that promotes efficiency and swift response to equipment breakdowns.
- Implement measures to minimize downtime during planned maintenance activities.
- Troubleshooting and Diagnostics:
- Lead the team in diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical issues in plant equipment, ensuring efficient and effective problem resolution.
- Utilize diagnostic tools and techniques to identify root causes of equipment malfunctions.
- Equipment Upgrades and Modifications:
- Participate in planning and executing equipment upgrades, modifications, and retrofitting projects.
- Work closely with engineering teams to implement improvements and ensure compatibility with existing systems.
- Safety and Compliance:
- Enforce and promote safety protocols and procedures within the workshop, creating a culture of safety awareness.
- Ensure that all mechanical maintenance activities comply with relevant safety regulations and industry standards.
- Integrate safety protocols into equipment availability planning, ensuring that all maintenance activities comply with safety regulations.
- Conduct regular safety audits and Gemba work during maintenance activities to minimize risks.
- Documentation:
- Maintain accurate records of mechanical maintenance activities through the MMS (Maintenance Management System), including work orders, inspections, and equipment documentation.
- Develop and update reports for continuous data analysis.
- Update and review equipment manuals, maintenance logs, and relevant documentation.
- Collaboration:
- Collaborate with other maintenance professionals, including electrical technicians and engineers, to optimize the overall performance of plant equipment.
- Provide technical support to other departments, addressing mechanical-related concerns.
