Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Team Leader Optical Transport Operations

  • Ensure the achievement of the Sub-Directorate's objectives and monitor the daily achievements of employees
  • Manage and support all NG DWDM, FO and Synchronization link transmission issues
  • Prepare investigation and incident reports (DIG report) and implement GS recommendations
  • Ensure compliance with deadlines for implementing GS recommendations
  • Ensure that ticket and CR execution deadlines are met according to the established SLA
  • Support and assist the NMS transmission and UOP team for various interventions and complaints
  • Monitor and analyze problems related to cuts and degradation of optical fibers
  • Provide support to regional transmission intervention teams.
  • Ensure the availability and proper functioning of the optical transport network.
  • Proposes the different action plans to be implemented within the node.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • State engineer/Master 2 in Electronics, Telecommunications or Computer Science.
  • Five (05) years of experience in the field of optical transmission & DWDM operations of Telecom networks.
  • Skills in diagnosis, troubleshooting and complex incident management.
  • Proficiency in office tools and technical reporting.
