Job Purpose:

The Technical Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating and managing all technical aspects of the project, ensuring that architectural and engineering designs are implemented according to specifications, quality standards, and project timelines. The role will serve as a bridge between the design, construction, and project management teams to ensure smooth communication and technical compliance throughout the project’s lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review architectural and engineering drawings, specifications, and design documentation to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with project requirements.
• Coordinate between design consultants, site teams, subcontractors, and client representatives to resolve design or technical issues.
• Assist in the preparation, review, and submission of shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements.
• Ensure timely responses to RFIs (Requests for Information) and maintain updated technical documentation records.
• Support project engineers and construction teams with detailed technical clarifications and coordination drawings.
• Monitor on-site technical compliance and support site inspections to ensure works align with approved drawings and standards.
• Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to verify technical data and compatibility of materials with project specifications.
• Participate in design coordination meetings and contribute to identifying potential clashes or constructability issues.
• Assist in implementing project quality assurance and control measures from a technical standpoint.
• Ensure adherence to safety, environmental, and company policies throughout the technical processes.
