Summary:


The Design and Projects department is considered the key department at H.DECO.

The qualified candidate for this position is responsible for the drafting of technical shop drawings for use in production; and providing application support for all design and projects department activities.



Primary Responsibilities:


o Drafting in Auto CAD, shop-Drawings including the technical details/joinery as required by Projects manager to facilitate the execution at the production phase.

o Liaising with supervisors, production & installation department for accurate details for production and installation.

o Reproduce and revise drawings as changes occur and maintain concerned parties updated of the changes.

o Prepare the Job Orders, specifying the material required at each production phase (Wood Factory, Paint and installation)

o Maintaining the Department s file for each project including all the information required and as per the Department s procedure.

o Work closely with all departments to ensure that drawing convey accurate information.

o Able to work from drawing, sketches, or scanned images, customer drawings, or specifications.

o May be responsible for some design elements.



Additional Responsibilities:

Visit sites when needed for taking measurements and checking site conditions.


Knowledge and Skills Required

Knowledge in wood details

Experience in fire rated doors

Proficient with Microsoft Windows Applications and AutoCAD

Fluent in Arabic and English

Polyboard & Opticut experience is a plus

Education and Background qualification:

University or TS Degree in Interior design or Architecture

1-3 years in a relevant position
