Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Role

To be the technical reference point for all Voice solutions by guaranteeing the reliability of the service, N2/N3 support, actively contributing to responses to calls for tenders, ensuring technical relevance, compliance with specifications and operational feasibility.


Missions

1. Technical & Architecture Expertise


Design, engineering and optimization of voice architectures.

Operator solutions engineering.

Advanced protocol analysis.

Developing technical strategies to ensure robustness, security and scalability.


2. Role in Requests for Proposals (RFI / RFP / AO)


Participate in the reading, analysis and breakdown of the specifications.

Identify the technical, functional, regulatory requirements and any potential discrepancies.

Build the technical responses: (Target architecture, HLD/LLD, Voice scope, Migration/reversibility scenarios, VoIP security requirements, Operator integration.

Prepare the technical compliance matrix (requirement vs response).

Collaborating with the sales and pre-sales teams to define the target offer.

Develop transition plans, migration strategies, governance and SLAs.

Sizing Voice infrastructure (licenses, SBCs, bandwidth, agents, servers).

Assess the technical risks and produce the assumptions & exclusions of the scope.

Contribute to the drafting of the Technical Response File (TRF).

Participate in technical presentations to the client if necessary.


3. Level 2/3 Support


Advanced incident handling (SIP, SBC, trunks, vectoring, recordings...).

Trace analysis (SBC, PCAP, Avaya list trace, UUI).

Coordination of escalation to operators & publishers.

4. Projects & Migrations


Technical management of telephony projects: VoIP migrations, portability, inbound reversibility, operator switchover.

Preparation of MOPs, test plans and rollbacks.

End-to-end verification of flows and post-migration controls.


5. Governance & Documentation


HLD/LLD production / flowcharts / flow matrices.

Drafting of operational documents:

CRQ, MOP, procedures, support guides.

Participation in VoIP technical committees.

Documentation update on Confluence.

Desired profile

Bachelor's degree (4-5 years of higher education) in computer science, telecommunications or equivalent.

A minimum of 5 years of proven experience in the field of VoIP infrastructure, SIP Trunks, or technical project management is required.

Expertise in operational management is an asset.
