Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Technical Control: Verify the conformity of track laying work (rails, sleepers, ballast, clearance, geometry). Inspect the implementation of track components (switches, movable frogs, incorporation). Participate in works testing and acceptance (geometry control, dynamic tests, etc.). Draft control reports, report non-conformities, and follow up on their resolution.
Quality and Safety Monitoring: Ensure compliance with railway safety rules on construction sites. Ensure conformity with STI and standards. Participate in the development of safety files. Participate in the development of homologation files. Propose corrective and improvement actions.
Client Assistance: Provide technical support within the framework of execution studies and work procedures. Participate in technical and coordination meetings. Monitor work progress and alert on risks or deviations.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bac+5 (Engineering school in civil or mechanical engineering, or equivalent university degree) with a minimum of 20 years of experience in LGV railway track.
- Mastery of track laying and maintenance techniques and track components.
- Knowledge of railway standards and control procedures.
- Ability to draft technical reports and communicate with stakeholders.
- Rigor, autonomy, analytical skills, team spirit.
- Knowledge of LGV and/or STI references is essential for the successful completion of the mission.
- Proficiency in French is essential.
