Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Your Responsibilities
-
Platform Architecture: Own the architecture for APIs, internal services, integrations, and data layers.

Scale & Security: Define service boundaries, system ownership, and multi-AZ AWS infrastructure.
-
Engineering Leadership: Mentor backend engineers, enforce coding and testing standards, and guide the migration from legacy systems (PHP to Go).
-
CI/CD & DevOps Collaboration: Drive infrastructure-as-code (Terraform), blue/green deployments, and system observability.
-
Cross-Team Partnership: Align closely with Product, QA, and DevOps for smooth, secure, and timely releases.

7+ years in backend/platform engineering, including 2+ years in a Tech Lead or Architect role.

Deep experience with Golang, AWS (ECS, RDS, SQS, API Gateway), and PostgreSQL.

Strong knowledge of CI/CD, system design, and microservice architectures.
-
Proven ability to guide platform modernization and lead engineering teams through change.
-
Excellent communication, decision-making, and technical documentation skills.

Experience with PHP Go migrations.

Familiarity with HubSpot, gRPC, Kafka, or EventBridge.
-
Background in multi-tenant/multi-region platforms.
-
Contributions to engineering playbooks, tooling, or internal technical standards.
