Job Description

The Java/React Technical Lead is responsible for the technical design, code quality, and technical coordination of the development teams. They ensure the consistency of technological choices, actively participate in development, and support developers in implementing best practices.

You will work closely with business and IT teams to understand functional needs and translate them into appropriate technical solutions.

Main missions

Define and validate the technical architecture of the applications (frontend and backend)

Actively participate in the development of critical components in Java (Spring Boot) and React.js

To provide technical guidance to developers and ensure knowledge sharing

Implement and ensure good development practices (Clean Code, CI/CD, unit and integration testing)

Perform code reviews and ensure software quality (SonarQube, eslint, etc.)

Collaborating with product, UX/UI, and DevOps teams to ensure end-to-end consistency

Participate in the technical scoping and workload estimation phases

Monitor performance and ensure ongoing maintenance and updates to applications.

To ensure continuous technological monitoring and propose architectural or methodological improvements

Technical skills required

Backend:

Language: Java 11+ , Spring Boot , Spring Cloud , Hibernate/JPA

Architecture: Microservices , REST APIs , Event-driven architecture

Databases: PostgreSQL , MongoDB , MySQL , Redis

Tools: Maven/Gradle , Git , Docker , Jenkins , SonarQube

Frontend:

React.js , Redux / Zustand , TypeScript / JavaScript (ES6+)

HTML5 , CSS3/SASS , Material UI , TailwindCSS

Testing: Jest , React Testing Library

DevOps / Cloud:

Knowledge of CI/CD , Kubernetes , Docker

Experience with a cloud ( Azure , AWS or GCP ) is an asset

Qualifications

Desired profile

Master's degree (Bac +5) in computer science (engineering school or equivalent university)

8+ years of development experience, including at least 2 years in a technical lead role

Proven experience on Java/Spring Boot and React.js projects

Agile practices (Scrum/Kanban) are highly valued.
