Technical Lead - Sewerage and treatment GHD

We are seeking a seasoned Technical Lead to spearhead the planning, design, and delivery of sewerage and wastewater treatment projects across Qatar. This role is critical to advancing sustainable infrastructure and ensuring environmental compliance in line with national and international standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary teams in the design and execution of sewerage treatment systems.
• Oversee technical reviews, hydraulic modeling, and process optimization.
• Ensure project delivery aligns with client expectations, budget, and regulatory frameworks.
• Collaborate with stakeholders including government entities, consultants, and contractors.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical excellence across the team.
• Support tendering processes and contribute to business development initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering (Master s degree preferred).
• Chartered or Professional Engineer status.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in wastewater/sewerage treatment projects.
• At least 8 years of experience leading planning and strategy for foul sewerage networks and treatment works.
• Proven expertise in masterplanning, catchment strategy development, and stakeholder coordination.
• Strong understanding of treatment technologies, hydraulic systems, and environmental impact assessments.
• Familiarity with Qatar s regulatory landscape and permitting processes.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with SCADA systems, BIM/Revit, and digital project delivery tools.
• PMP or equivalent certification.
• Arabic language proficiency is an advantage.
