Roles & Responsibilities
Job Description:
The Technical Manager is responsible for managing technical teams across various projects. This role ensures that projects are
delivered according to the specifications, deadlines, and quality standards. The Technical Manager will work closely with engineers,
design teams, and project managers to ensure seamless technical execution and process improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the technical team in delivering engineering solutions that meet project specifications and requirements.
• Ensure that all technical deliverables are completed on time and within budget.
• Oversee the quality of technical work and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Collaborate with project managers to ensure technical solutions are aligned with project goals.
• Identify and implement opportunities for process improvements within the technical team.
Key Result Areas (KRAs):
1. Project Specifications and Delivery
• KPI: Ensure 100% compliance with technical specifications across all assigned projects.
• KPI: Achieve 90% or higher on-time delivery of technical solutions.
2. Team Performance Management
• KPI: Conduct quarterly performance reviews, achieving a 90% team engagement score.
• KPI: Maintain a team productivity level of 90% or higher.
3. Quality and Process Improvements
• KPI: Implement one new process improvement per project to enhance technical efficiency.
• KPI: Ensure 95% or higher quality compliance across all technical deliverables.
4. Schedules and Deadlines
• KPI: Ensure 100% adherence to project deadlines and schedules.
• KPI: Resolve 90% of technical issues within 72 hours of identification.
Desired Candidate Profile
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• 7+ years of technical experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
• Proven ability to manage technical teams and projects.
• Proficiency in design software (AutoCAD, Revit, Rhino) and engineering tools (SAP2000, STAADPro).
• Knowledge of industry standards and regulations.
