Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Under the supervision of the Deputy Director of the French Institute in Rabat and reporting to the Secretary General, the incumbent of this position is responsible for the technical aspects related to the branch's activities (cultural programming, language courses, media library, cooperation, etc.) as well as the maintenance of the Institute's premises. He/she will be required to provide technical support both internally and externally to support cultural activities and events in internal and external venues and performance spaces, while also ensuring technical support for all the Institute's technical equipment, furniture, and infrastructure.
Responsibilities
Their main responsibilities will include:
Fixed Asset Management : Ensuring the supervision and monitoring of fixed assets and technical support for all departments of the French Institute in Rabat.
Resource Management : Optimizing material and logistical management across all of the institute's sites.
Performance Compliance : Verifying that performance venues comply with the provided technical specifications.
Artistic Interface : Translating artistic needs into technical solutions and coordinating the various stakeholders.
Technical Installation : Setting up the necessary equipment (sound, lighting, video) for performances and cultural events.
Projections and Control Room : Ensuring and supervising DCP projections and managing the control room during evening events.
Equipment Maintenance : Monitoring and managing preventive and corrective maintenance of equipment and infrastructure.
Technical Interventions : Resolving ad-hoc technical problems and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
Logistics support : Contribute to the management of personnel and equipment movements, according to the needs determined by the head of their assigned department.
Desired Candidate Profile
Education and Experience:
Technician diploma, preferably in the fields relevant to the position, and at least 5 years
of proven experience in similar technical roles with responsibilities.

Skills and expertise:
Strong interpersonal skills.
Fluency in written and spoken French is desirable, and fluency in Arabic is required.
Proficiency in computer skills.
Mobility and high availability.
Category B driving license.
Personal qualities:
Ability to work in a team, listening and needs analysis skills,
organizational and planning skills, and
strong interpersonal and communication skills.
