Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Requirements are for an O&M (Operating & Maintenance) Company for its first independent 1.8 gigawatts (GW) combined cycle power plant based in Emirate of Sharjah. 

  • Shortlisted candidates must hold experience in a large CCGT (Combined Cycle Gas Turbines) power plant in each of the available roles.  Candidates who have working experience on GE’s heavy-duty gas turbine F Class and above will be given preference. 


Lead and manage all technical aspects of the power plant operations

  • Ensure optimal performance, reliability, and efficiency of plant equipment

  • Oversee maintenance strategies, troubleshooting, and technical support

  • Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards

  • Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and operational excellence

  • Provide technical guidance and leadership to engineering teams

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Proven experience in a large Combined Cycle Gas Turbine (CCGT) power plant

  • Experience working with GE heavy-duty gas turbines (F Class and above) is highly preferred

  • Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills

  • Strong knowledge of power plant systems, safety standards, and best practices
