Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Prepare, review, and coordinate architectural shop drawings and detailed construction documents in accordance with project specifications and timelines.

  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and site teams to ensure seamless integration of architectural designs with structural, MEP, and other disciplines.
  • Conduct technical reviews of design documents, identify discrepancies, and propose effective solutions to resolve conflicts.
  • Assist in the preparation of material submittals, technical reports, and project documentation for client and consultant approvals.
  • Ensure compliance with local building codes, regulations, and industry standards throughout all project phases.
  • Participate in value engineering processes to optimize design efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and constructability.
  • Support the procurement team by providing technical input on architectural materials and specifications.
  • Coordinate with external consultants, suppliers, and subcontractors to clarify technical requirements and resolve design-related issues.
  • Monitor and track project progress, ensuring timely delivery of architectural deliverables and adherence to project schedules.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by sharing best practices and lessons learned within the technical office team.

Desired Candidate Profile

Bachelor s degree in Architecture or a related field.

  • 2 to 5 years of proven experience as a Technical Office Architect or in a similar architectural role within the construction industry.
  • Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other architectural design software.
  • Solid understanding of construction processes, materials, and methods.
  • Excellent knowledge of local building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Demonstrated ability to prepare and review detailed architectural drawings and documents.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload in a fast-paced office environment.
  • Commitment to upholding quality standards and delivering projects on schedule.
