Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Participate in solving / reporting any unexpected technical difficulties, and other problems that may arise during construction to the Technical Office Manager for discussion and proper solve.
  • Tender pricing under the team leader s supervision, Preparing cost breakdown, comparing supplier s prices with the BOQ and studying the project documents (Tender Package) and decomposing it.
  • Participate in initial planning and bidding processes, including reviewing environmental factors, government regulations, constructions costs and risk analysis reports to prepare comprehensive study on all relevant design factors.
  • Revising subcontractors' documents before sending it for approvals and negotiating requirements if needed with the stakeholders.
  • Reviews Subcontractor's shop drawings to ensure compliance with specifications and contract agreements by checking them for technical accuracy according to accepted guidelines.
  • Attending weekly site meetings with the project's stakeholders and assuring that materials and shop drawings submissions meet approvals, specs & standards in site.
  • Mentoring and coaching for junior team members, assigning tasks and providing guidance when needed under the TL's supervision
  • Coordinating with clients to determine their needs and expectations regarding the project
  • Coordinating with other engineering teams to identify and anticipate changing requirements and opportunities to improve the development process and increase the quality of deliverables.
  • Revising all architectural, structural, electrical, and mechanical plans, to figure out any conflict to coordinate
  • Prepare cost breakdown, comparing supplier's price with the BOQ.
  • Responsible for preparing, issuing and following up to get approvals for all shop drawings, materials, time schedule and all important forms and ensuring that all documents are approved and up to date.
  • Research and maintain knowledge of application processes and different materials for permeability development.
  • Responsible of preparing all shop drawings using the needed software(2D
  • Quantity surveying of projects in cooperation with the site team

Desired Candidate Profile

  • 3-7 years of experience, 3 years at least in the same role in construction companies.
  • Demonstrated hands-on experience with architecture and architectural principles and techniques.
  • Knowledge of the methods and techniques of CAD design & & Revit.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Architecture
  • An excellent working knowledge of science, mathematics, and engineering principles.
  • V.Good MS Word and Excel proficiency, as well as good verbal and written communication skills
  • Interpersonal and leadership skills; and ability to work well alone and in a team.
