Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Prepare and review electrical shop drawings, technical submittals, and as-built documentation for sports facility projects.
- Coordinate with project managers, architects, and other engineering disciplines to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems.
- Conduct site visits to verify installation quality and compliance with design specifications and safety standards.
- Develop detailed material take-offs and bill of quantities for electrical works.
- Assist in the selection and specification of electrical equipment, lighting systems, and control panels for sports venues.
- Support procurement activities by evaluating technical offers and ensuring materials meet project requirements.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and propose solutions to mitigate delays or technical issues.
- Ensure all electrical designs adhere to local codes, international standards, and client requirements.
- Provide technical support to site teams during installation, testing, and commissioning phases.
- Prepare regular progress reports and documentation for internal and client review.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- 2 to 6 years of relevant experience in electrical engineering within construction or sports facility projects.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other electrical design software.
- Strong knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and safety regulations.
- Experience preparing shop drawings, technical submittals, and as-built documentation.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills with multidisciplinary teams.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively under tight deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Willingness to conduct site visits and work in an office-based environment.
